This should make us all think

Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston, Texas .

Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area.

When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, 'You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it.' Then he thought, 'Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter.

Who would worry about this little amount?

Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it.
Accept it as a gift from God and keep quiet.'

When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, 'Here, you gave me too much change.'

The driver, with a smile, replied, 'Aren' t you the new preacher in town?

I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship.
I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday.'

When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter.'

Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read.

This is a really scary example of how much people watch us as Christians and will put us to the test!

Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your Shoulders when you call yourself 'Christian.'

Watch your thoughts; they become words.

Watch your words; they become actions.

Watch your actions; they become habits.

Watch your habits; they become character.

Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

dreamweaver

I am learning how to use dreamweaver currently. I am supposed to eventually build a school website. Not going that fast as I am currently trying to learn how to build the one that is meant to teach and not working on an actual school website. ANd, it is during lunch and when I get finished early in health int he Business teacher's room. It also sucks that I haven't taken IBCA and can't type.


NEXT YEAR I WILL NOT BE HAPPY IF I DON'T GET IBCA 7TH HOUR AS I DO NOT WANT A DUMB 7TH HOUR CLASS SINCE MOST PEOPLE TAKE SPORTS FOR PE 7TH HOUR AND I AM DOUBLING UP ON MY MATH CLASSES AND TAKING ALG2 AND GEOMETRY NEXT YEAR AN D NOT TAKING A PE SO I CAN TAKE SPANISH1 AND IBCA NEXT YEAR!!!

Twas a half day.

Was a great day.

Did YMCA and some other dance thingymabobers in the cafateria at lunch with a friend.


Awesomeness.

Then did something not nice after school on an evil social network site.

Ann am going to the bonfire for football and stuff tonight.

Is that crazy lady in the hall observing us today?

SO this week, people who have mixed priorities or not(not sure) are visiting from the school board.

Before English, I asked if that crazy lady in the hall was observing us today when I walked in. She was a few feet away and had just walked in behind me.

I talked to the dictionary today when I was looking a word up for our literary terms.

Also in the class before English which has the same teacher as my english teacher where i was trying to work on a novella, I had just really got into my novella research in the computer lab when we had to go.

I talk and argue and shout at the computer also.

I wasn't happy 7th hour- world history. I was quickly flipping pages today. I accidentally ripped a chunk of a page out. Oh well..

Also, I called somebody a dipshit. SOmebody who I am not sure who it is got my world history workbook and it was on another desk yesterday when we had a sub. Today, I was talking with people and called that person a dipshit...

Teacher heard me, but it was ok.

Also, it was discovered that my whole chapter 8 section was tore out for copying. YAY!! The teacher gave me a generic 96 on it.

Am I Crazy?

I want to raise my math grade....

It is a 102!

I want all As this 6 weeks. I think I shan't though. Unless a miracle in my eh class happens...

Also, I think I shan't make an A in physical science. Test tomorrow... I shan't study!!

I made a 46 out of 50 on Friday's timed writing!! What was my English teacher smoking then??

The timed writing was on poetic elements in Canterbury Tales.


I have a goal of making an A in English this 6 weeks!!!

I made a 92- a b- last 6 weeks. It was one point below an A. I just want at least one A in English this year!!

The blog has no purpose anymore

I am enjoying school and don't have reason to bitch these days.
